To Kill A Mockingbird

  • The Grand Opera House 135 West 8th Street Dubuque, IA, 52001 United States (map)

To Kill A Mockingbird follows Scout, a young girl living in the South during the depression. When a violent crime is committed against a young white woman, and a young black man is accused, Scout's father, Atticus, agrees to defend the man. What follows is a story of discrimination, ugliness, honor, and nobility. The audience and Scout learn the value of standing up for what is right, a lesson that will follow all of us for a lifetime.
