Originally from Georgia, Alicia Wright has received fellowships from the Iowa Writers' Workshop. Her poems have appeared or are forthcoming in Southern Humanities Review, The Literary Review, Prelude, and The Southeast Review. She was the winner of New South's 2015 New Writing Contest and Indiana Review's 2016 Poetry Prize. She lives and teaches in Iowa City, Iowa.
Jackson Burgess is the author of Pocket Full of Glass, winner of the 2014 Clockwise Chapbook Competition, and Atrophy, a 2016 National Poetry Series Finalist. He has placed work in The Los Angeles Review, The Cincinnati Review, The Des Moines Register, and elsewhere, and is an MFA Candidate at the Iowa Writers' Workshop (jacksonburgess.com).
Tony Flesher is a second-year MFA candidate at the Iowa Writers' Workshop. He is from Des Moines and recently published poems in the Des Moines Register.
Strummer Hoffston is a graduate of NYU’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study. She is the recipient of fellowships from the Iowa Writers’ Workshop where she is pursuing her MFA. Her poems have appeared in Salt Hill, Per Contra, Across the Margin, frankmatter, and Epiphany, where she was the winner of Epiphany Magazine’s Spring Contest.
